The Flea and the Cat
FLEA: I try to get your attention.
I try to annoy you.
Why aren’t you replying?
CAT: I ignore you.
You sure as heck are annoying me,
But I ignore you.
FLEA: I bounce around
And scare the wits out of you!
CAT: I slink around,
And petrify you.
CAT: I pounce on anything small and
Helpless.
FLEA: I bite anything big and helpless.
CAT: I’ll invite my friends.
Maybe this flea will like them
More than me.
FLEA: I’ll invite my friends,
Have a party,
We can all share the cat!
CAT: What’s this?
More fleas? Oh boy…
FLEA: What’s this?
More cats? Oh boy!
